Run, don't walk and snatch this cutie up before you lose out on the opportunity because Onyx Baby won't be available long! His personality is by far the sweetest. Not only is his personality the absolute best but he's also stinking adorable! I mean, just look at that forever puppy dog face, those soul wrenching sweet eyes of his, and the ears! So floppy and so perfect.
Onyx Baby is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 7 months old and currently weighs 33 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, its always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
Ideal Home
Onyx would thrive in a home with a back yard where he can romp around, stretch his legs, play with his toys, and relax in the sun. In all honesty though, he is completely happy being a total couch potato as well. So get ready for lazy Sunday movie marathon snuggles with Onyx because that's what's going to happen. He'll enjoy mini adventures as well, just be prepared to be stopped by everyone because hes so stinking cute. Onyx is the best of both worlds in our eyes. We haven't seen Onyx around kids yet, but we can absolutely test that for you. Based off what we already know about him, we believe he would make a great family dog. He would be happiest self with another dog in the home.

Training & Support
Onyx is already so well behaved and according to his foster, already has wonderful house manners too. Onyx comes prepped already knowing a couple of basic commands such as "sit" and is so gentle when he takes treats. He loves treats, is eager to please, and has already proven he's a smart little boy. The perfect trifecta for any additional training you would like to do with him in the future. It'll be an enjoyable bonding experience for you both. Onyx is crate trained and is working on his potty training. His foster reports that he has it down for the most part but when left for long hours he does occasionally have an accident.

Onyx is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Pickup locations for Canadian adopters are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page! Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
