Katniss

Katniss is a dog's dog! If you're looking for a fantastic companion for your current dog, Katniss is your girl. She's a bit slow to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she's a sweetheart. Her favorite thing in the world is playing with other dogs, and she gets along wonderfully with our staff members who have earned her trust. Katniss is a loving and loyal companion who just needs a little patience and understanding to show her true, wonderful self.

Ideal Home

Katniss would thrive in a home with a well-fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. She'll do best with an adopter who is willing to take the time to help her build confidence and come out of her shell. She would prefer a home with other dogs to be her playmates.

Ongoing Health

Katniss is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is in good health.

Training & Support

Katniss is house-trained. She is still learning to trust new people, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key to her continued success.
