Etsy is believed to be a Cattle dog/Pittie mix, around 2 years old and weighing 52 lbs. As with any rescue, her exact breed and age are a wonderful mystery!
Ideal Home
Etsy would thrive with a semi-active family or individual who enjoys the outdoors, whether it's hiking, camping, or simply playing in the yard. She's adaptable and could do well in an apartment with sufficient exercise and socialization. While she adores outdoor adventures, she's also a snugglebug who cherishes quiet time indoors. She'd do best in a home with a medium-energy male dog who enjoys companionship but doesn't demand constant play. She does not need another dog in the home, and she would do best with no cats, as she showed a little too much interest in the resident feline.
Ongoing Health
Etsy is a healthy girl. Her adoption fee includes all vetting, which covers vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and a health certificate.
Training & Support
Etsy is a bright and eager learner, already knowing commands like "sit" and "down." She walks well on a leash, only occasionally pulling towards interesting smells, and responds well to gentle correction. She has excellent house manners and is both crate and potty trained. While she can be a bit shy in new environments, she warms up quickly and will be showering you with kisses and cuddles in no time.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up points in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
