Sandy is a sweet, loyal, and loving lady with a playful spirit and a fearless independence. She forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys following them from room to room, napping nearby, and keeping floors clean as a personal vacuum cleaner for any dropped snacks. Sandy is very food motivated and polite on-leash, enjoying daily walks and occasional hikes. She gets along well with other dogs, children, and most people she meets, preferring peaceful coexistence over a playmate. Sandy is fully crate and potty trained and is comfortable spending time alone, viewing her crate as a cozy beach bungalow. She does have a quirky habit of occasionally barking at or chasing her tail. Her low-shedding coat makes for easy maintenance.
