Meet Hershey (aka Hershey Kisses!)
Have you always dreamed of owning your very own land hippo? Meet Hershey a chocolate-colored chunk of love wrapped up in one short, stocky, THICK little tank of a dog! With her adorable bulldog build and heart as big as her bulldog booty, Hershey is ready to become someone's loyal best friend.
Hershey is crate trained and firmly believes she was born to be an indoor dog. Her perfect day consists of lounging in her crate, snuggling on the couch, following her favorite person from room to room, and soaking up all the love she can get. While she enjoys short walks and can certainly accompany you for a stroll, Hershey much prefers the comfort of an indoor lifestyle. A quick potty break outside, then it's back inside for movies, naps, and cuddles.
This affectionate Velcro girl wants nothing more than to be close to her people. Need a bathroom buddy? Hershey's there. Need an alarm clock? Expect face kisses. Looking for a professional couch snuggler? Hershey has that covered too.
In her foster home, Hershey has done well with indoor cats, mostly choosing to ignore them, although she may become curious if they run outdoors. She has also been wonderful around a 9-month-old baby. Her only offense is occasionally forgetting how much love fits into her sturdy frame and accidentally flattening someone during cuddle time.
Hershey's ideal home is in a rural setting where she can enjoy a calm, predictable environment. She would do best as the only dog and is not a fan of dog parks, crowded places, or busy social situations.
Hershey is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you're looking for a devoted companion, oversized cuddle buddy, and loyal shadow, Hershey is ready to bring all the loveand all the chocolate to your life.
