Meet Azra, a sweet and cuddly Shepherd/Lab mix puppy who is 16 weeks old as of June 22, 2026. Weighing in at 19.8 pounds as of June 21, 2026, Azra is a playful girl who loves to snuggle. She is currently in a foster home in the DC area and is eager to find her forever family. Azra is part of a litter of five puppies, all ready to pack their bags and find their own loving homes.

Ideal Home

Azra is looking for a home where she can play with her toys, get her zoomies out, and enjoy plenty of snuggles. She's excited about exploring her new neighborhood on walks and making new doggie friends. Her foster notes that she would love a home that will allow her to do so.

Ongoing Health

Azra has received age-appropriate vaccines but may not be fully vaccinated. It is the adopter's responsibility to ensure she receives the remainder of her puppy vaccinations on schedule. Until fully vaccinated, she is at a higher risk for illness than an adult dog.

Training & Support

Azra is doing well with learning commands, crate training, and potty training. However, all puppies under 6 months of age require multiple potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with standard 8-hour workdays must be willing to make arrangements to meet Azra's needs. She would also benefit from attending a puppy obedience class to help her grow into a well-socialized dog.
