Ideal Home
Tamera Honey would thrive in a semi-active home that enjoys neighborhood walks, a bit of adventure, and plenty of affection. A home with a backyard would be ideal for her to stretch her legs and enjoy the sunshine. Apartment living is not a good fit for her. She has been wonderful with children as young as 7, showing gentleness and patience.

Tamera Honey is believed to be approximately 12 years old and weighs 58 lbs. She is a rescue dog, and her exact age and breed mix cannot be guaranteed. While she appears to have German Shepherd in her, this is not confirmed.
Training & Support
Tamera Honey is a smart and eager-to-please dog who already knows many tricks, including sit, down, shake, spin, roll over, and speak! She is treat-motivated and appears teachable. She walks fairly nicely on a leash, with occasional pulling from excitement, but she responds well to gentle reminders. She is also comfortable walking with other dogs. She is crate trained and potty trained. Consistency and positive reinforcement will be key for any additional training.
Tamera Honey is dog-friendly and has done well with introductions to other dogs, preferring slightly slower introductions before playtime. She enjoys playful interactions like air-play and nose boops but is not a fan of rough-and-tumble wrestling. She will offer a gentle correction if play becomes too much. She is respectful around cats, as demonstrated with a resident cat, and a meet-and-greet or sleepover can be arranged if you have a feline friend.
