Fleki

Fleki is a 66 lb, 3-year-old Catahoula mix with a gentle, well-mannered, and a bit shy demeanor. He’s the kind of dog who enjoys peace and quiet, but once he feels safe, he lights up! Fleki loves to run free, chase squirrels (though he's never caught one!), and splash in water. He's very attached to his "sister" Miga, and they are inseparable. Fleki is not a fan of city life; the noise and chaos make him uneasy. He thrives in wide-open spaces with calm, soft-spoken humans who understand that trust takes time. Fleki will be a loyal and affectionate companion who will bring peace into your home.

Ideal Home

Fleki would do best in a calm, quiet environment with plenty of space to explore. He would also love to have a canine companion, especially if it's Miga. His ideal humans are those who are patient and appreciate a slow-building bond, as Fleki is incredibly loyal once he trusts you. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.

Fleki needs a little time to warm up to new people and environments. Patience and a gentle approach will go a long way in building his trust.

Fleki is currently being fostered in Texas. Our rescue provides transportation to his perfect forever home, with transports departing weekly!
