Mike

Hi there! I'm Mike, a 1.5-year-old, 28lb bundle of joy and wiggle! I recently joined the freedom squad after a breeder release, and let me tell you, the world is a big, exciting place! Everything is new and wonderful, from toys and parks to cuddles and attention. I'm a quick learner and I'm so happy to be discovering what it's like to be part of a family. I love my meals, especially with a little cottage cheese on top, and I'm quickly learning that good decisions lead to tasty treats!

Ideal Home

I'd love a home with another friendly dog, preferably a female, who can show me the ropes. Patient humans who understand that I'm still learning about the world and appreciate a good booty wiggle are a must!

Ongoing Health

I recently had my neuter surgery and am recovering well. I have another vet appointment scheduled to repeat a heartworm test as the first one showed a faint possible positive. The rescue is being extra careful to ensure I'm in perfect health before heading to my forever home.

Training & Support

I'm still working on my house manners and may sometimes mark inside, but this has already slowed down significantly since my neuter. Belly bands might be helpful for a little while. I also have a curious side and love to chew on things, especially plastic items, so keeping your belongings picked up will be key to my success. I'm a smart boy who thrives with consistency, patience, and guidance.
