Meet Reese — A Young Soul Ready to Belong

Reese is a 1-year-old, 59-pound Alaskan Husky with a joyful spirit and a gentle, affectionate nature. He was found on the streets of Harris County, TX, and taken to a busy shelter. Despite his past, Reese trusts people and his heart remains wide open, showing he once knew love. He is excellent with people and other dogs, always eager to connect. Reese walks beautifully on leash without pulling and is treat-motivated. He knows how to sit and has a sweet habit of jumping up for more pets, soaking up all the affection he can get. Reese loves being touched and thrives on human connection.

Ideal Home

Reese would do well in just about any home setting, though an active home is preferred to help meet the exercise needs typical of his breed.

Ongoing Health

Reese is up to date on all vaccines and neutered. He tested positive for heartworm, but has started slow-kill treatment and is recovering.

Training & Support

Reese has a habit of jumping up for more pets. With the right outlet for his energy, Reese will shine as a loyal, devoted companion.
