Little, fluffy, and ridiculously cute, Moonpie is the kind of dog that makes you do a double take. With her soft, fluffy ears that look like they belong on a little Furby doll and her fun, sweet personality, she's basically a walking bundle of happiness. She has that playful, spunky side that makes life more fun, paired perfectly with a gentle, affectionate nature that just wants to be close to her people. Moonpie is little, lovable, and full of charm. She's the kind of dog who turns everyday moments into something sweeter just by being there. Moonpie is believed to be a cattle dog mix, approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 34 lbs. She is a rescue dog, and with any rescue dog, it's always a mystery, and we cannot guarantee breed or age.

Moonpie would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people and enjoy both quiet downtime and gentle play. She has shown that cats are a little too interesting and engaging for her, so a cat-free home is recommended.

Training & Support
Moonpie is a smart and treat-motivated girl who already knows basic commands like "sit." She walks well on a leash and is crate and potty trained. She's quiet, has great house manners, and would be a wonderful companion for someone who works from home. Her calm demeanor and love for cuddles make her a perfect couch buddy, but she's also up for an adventure and happy to explore as long as she's with you. Any further training will be a breeze with her eager-to-please attitude.

Transporation
Moonpie is located in Texas and can be transported to various locations nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
