Lucky

Lucky is a 4-month-old Boxer mix with an explorative spirit hiding under a calm demeanor. He was the runt of his litter and therefore can still be cautious when meeting strangers. Once he gets to know you, he looks to you to be an anchor for his intense curiosity about the outside world. His two favorite things in life right now are chewing on a bone and enjoying time soaking up the sun in the great outdoors.

Ideal Home

Lucky would do best in a household that loves spending time outdoors. He is good around children and would be a great family dog. While he mostly plays by himself, he will also play with other dogs as long as the other dog isn't too rough with him. So far, he shows no interest in cats and generally avoids them.

Ongoing Health

Lucky's adoption fee includes his first 2 DAPP vaccinations, Bordetella, deworming, flea preventatives, heartworm test, and microchip.

Training & Support

Lucky is currently working on his housetraining and making great progress. He has settled into his crate very well and happily sleeps the day away waiting for the evening when people are available to play. He is quickly getting the hang of potty training but still has occasional accidents while playing. He is good about going number two outside after each meal.

Lucky is located at our rescue in Chicago, IL. We are able to transport to surrounding states for an additional fee.
