Meet Butternut! This gentle, snuggly little soul has a heart as warm as her name. Butternut was found at a gas station after being dumped there with her two sisters. Her siblings have since found loving homes, and now it’s her turn to finally get the happy ending she deserves. Despite her rough start, Butternut has remained incredibly loving and trusting. She adores curling up in your lap, giving soft little kisses, and melting into your arms for snuggles. She’s the kind of pup who makes you feel like you’re her whole world. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a tender spirit and lots of love to give, Butternut might be your perfect match.
Ideal Home
Butternut would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of affection, cozy naps, and gentle reassurance. She’s ready to bond deeply with her person — she’s just waiting for someone to choose her.
Ongoing Health
All puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian. Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All puppies are microchipped and registered. We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian, which is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
Training & Support
Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. Puppies 16 weeks or older will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
