If you're looking for twice the love, twice the laughs, and two devoted companions, meet Muttley and Jeff, an adorable bonded pair of Chihuahua/Terrier mixes looking for a forever home together.
Muttley is the outgoing social butterfly of the duo. With his adorable snub nose, friendly personality, and slightly chunky figure, he's impossible not to love. Muttley has never met a stranger that he's not ready to make into a new friend. He's always happy to "help" finish anyone else's food or treats if given the opportunity!
Jeff is a little more reserved. New places and unfamiliar people can make him nervous, so he'll need a patient adopter willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Once he knows you're his person, though, his sweet personality shines through. Jeff is incredibly affectionate, loves to snuggle, and forms deep bonds with the people he trusts.
Ideal Home
Muttley and Jeff are happiest simply being together. They love toys and a good game of tug-of-war, but also enjoy quiet evenings curled up beside you.
Ongoing Health
Jeff has a seizure disorder that is well-managed with twice-daily phenobarbital, which costs about $30 per month. His medication is taken easily when tucked into a bit of cheese or meat, and his seizures are fairly well controlled with this routine.
Training & Support
Jeff can be nervous in new places and with unfamiliar people, so patience is key.

- The adoption fee is $800, which includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant. This fee also includes a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
- We prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities, but may consider up to 250 miles with foster and staff approval.
