Jeffery

Jeffery is a 2-3 year old, 90-95lb male Staffordshire Terrier mix who is a gentle giant with people. He was found dumped at the Dallas shelter and likely lived a life as a junkyard dog. Despite his past, he is a super loving boy who enjoys hanging around, leisurely walks, cuddles, and movie nights on the couch. He knows his commands and is incredibly sensitive; if you raise your voice on a walk, he'll back up and sit by your side. Jeffery is a total sweetheart and would make a wonderful, loyal companion.

Ideal Home

Jeffery would do best in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children 12 years or older. He needs to be the only dog as he does not like other male dogs and is questionable with female dogs. He is not suited for dog parks and is not a running or hiking buddy. Absolutely no tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Jeffery is heartworm negative and up to date on all his shots.

Training & Support

Jeffery is crate trained and potty trained. He is very responsive to gentle guidance.
