Chelsea

Chelsea is a beautiful medium-sized female dog, listed as young, who is a mix of Beagle and Dalmatian. She was found as a stray and it's believed she experienced abuse in her past, as she was initially afraid of her previous adopter's cane. However, she quickly became comfortable and happy in her home. Sadly, her previous owner is now in hospice care and needs to rehome Chelsea. She is not accustomed to being away from home, except for vet visits.

Ideal Home

Chelsea is initially skittish and shy but warms up quickly. She would thrive in a home with no young children. A secure, fenced yard is required, and due to her being a flight risk, double-leashing is recommended when outside the yard. A vet's reference is also required.

Ongoing Health

Chelsea has been spayed and vaccinated. There are no other specific health concerns mentioned.

Training & Support

Chelsea is well crate-trained and enjoys sleeping in her crate. She is very food and treat motivated, which can be a great asset for training. While she has enjoyed playing with other foster dogs, she can occasionally be bossy and dominant with them, so a home where this can be managed would be ideal.
