About Marley

Marley is a handsome 4-year-old, 60 lb mixed breed boy with a heart full of love to give! He's a loyal companion who thrives on connection with his people. While he can be a bit discerning with new faces, he's not reactive and quickly warms up to become your shadow. Marley had a previous home as a puppy but was returned due to anxiety around a young toddler. He's friendly with other dogs and has excellent basic obedience skills. Marley is house-trained and crate-trained, making him a well-mannered addition to a home.

Ideal Home

Marley would do best in a home with dog-savvy older children who understand and respect his space, as he can be nervous around younger ones. He has shown a prey drive with cats, so a feline-free household is a must. Experience with large breeds is preferred, and a fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus for him to safely explore.

Ongoing Health

Marley is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Marley is house-trained, crate-trained, and has good basic obedience. He has previously shown anxiety around young children and prey drive with cats. We're continuing to learn more about him in foster care, but with patience and understanding, Marley will continue to blossom.
