Moose is a sweet, easygoing, and wonderfully balanced pup with a gentle, warm presence. He quietly wanders over and leans against your leg, stealing your heart before you even realize it. Estimated to be around 6 months old, he has a rich chocolate coat and an even sweeter personality, likely a mix of Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Pit Bull. Moose is playful but not overly energetic, enjoying romping with other dogs and the water, but also content to settle down. He's affectionate and confident, taking new experiences in stride, and has a calm demeanor that makes him an easy companion. He's the perfect puppy for someone looking for a friendly, easy-to-love friend who will quietly fit into their routine.
Ideal Home
Moose would thrive in a home where he can continue his growth into an incredible adult dog.
Ongoing Health
Moose is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test. He has a health certificate deeming him healthy for travel.
Training & Support
As a puppy, Moose will benefit from continued socialization, basic training, and plenty of opportunities to learn. The organization assesses every animal with trainers on staff, modifies behavior as needed, and creates individualized behavior plans, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.
