Meet Bella!

Bella is a sweet Staffordshire Terrier who absolutely adores being close to her person. She's incredibly people-oriented and thrives on affection and companionship. Bella originally lived with her brother, but unfortunately, her family had to surrender her to the SPCA when they moved. After a stay in a loving foster home and a transfer due to health reasons, Bella experienced an attack by another dog. Because of this, she is understandably alert and fearful around other dogs and would be happiest as the only pet in the home where she can feel safe and relaxed.

Bella has wonderful manners and truly enjoys being with her people. She loves her daily walks and is a good leash walker, though she might do a happy little "tap dance" if she sees a squirrel or cat! One of her favorite outings is a visit to Three Dog Bakery, where she happily picks out a treat and soaks up all the attention. Each morning, she greets the day by flopping onto her back and wiggling with joy – it's guaranteed to make you smile! She gives the best "flea kisses," loves to cuddle, and will gently hug your hand when you come home.

Bella enjoys chewing on bones, watching birds and squirrels (and adorably trying to figure out how to climb a tree!), and would make a fantastic travel companion. She loves car rides and would happily be your ride-or-die for RV adventures. She has a mild fear of fireworks and will need extra comfort during loud celebrations. Bella cannot be crated, but she is doggy-door trained, has excellent potty habits, and is respectful in the home. More than anything, she wants a safe place and a person to love.

Ideal Home

Bella would do best in a home where she is the only pet, allowing her to feel safe and relaxed without any fear around other dogs. She cannot be crated.

Ongoing Health

Bella has a mild fear of fireworks and will need extra comfort during loud celebrations.

Training & Support

Bella is doggy-door trained and has excellent potty and urinary control. She is respectful in the home.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our out-of-state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location).
• The adoption fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
• All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention.
• A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
• We reserve the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal.
• Our animal adoptions are NOT on a first-come, first-served basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.

Transporation

Bella is currently being fostered in Texas but is available for transport to an agreed-upon location.
