Cachetona

Meet Cachetona, a tiny terrier mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality! She was found lying in the road in La Cruz, dangerously close to being hit. Thankfully, a kind volunteer stopped to help and discovered she belonged to a nearby mechanic shop. Her owner agreed to relinquish her, and this sweet girl finally got the chance she deserved. Cachetona warms up beautifully to people and is a loyal companion who just wants a peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved. If you're looking for a devoted friend with tons of heart, she's ready!

Ideal Home

Cachetona prefers a quiet home with teens or adults and is best as an only dog or with one calm, older dog. She does not enjoy other dogs in her space and needs a low-dog-traffic home.

Ongoing Health

Cachetona is a heartworm survivor and has been fully treated and is now heartworm negative.

Transporation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We arrange for transportation to the US and Canada via flight angels departing from Puerto Vallarta. Approved adopters will meet their new pup at the airport. During summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, transportation may involve meeting at Peace Arch Park at the border if flying into the US.
