Meet Milo — a smart, loyal gentleman ready for his second chance!

Milo is a 6-year-old male Heeler mix with striking coloring and the kind of presence that lets you know he’s been a well-loved family dog. He came to us after being relinquished to animal control, and when his time was up and he was at risk of euthanasia, we stepped in to give this incredible boy the chance he deserved. He's a true gem who knows his commands and tricks like sit, stay/lay down, back, and chase your tail. He's also leash trained and house trained, so no puppy chaos here! Milo loves people and gets along well with other dogs, making him a fantastic companion. He's smart, attentive, and eager to engage with his humans, proving that great dogs sometimes just need a second chance. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who already knows the ropes and has a heart full of love to give, Milo is ready to be your best friend!

Ideal Home

Milo would do best with older kids or adults who appreciate a dog that’s interactive, intelligent, and ready to be part of daily life. We wouldn’t recommend a home with very young children.

Ongoing Health

Milo is age-appropriately vetted, including being neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receiving internal parasite prevention, as well as flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Milo is leash trained and house trained. He knows several commands and tricks and is eager to engage with his humans.
