Sunny is a 1-year-old, 10-pound Pomeranian mix with a gentle heart and so much potential just waiting to shine. When he first arrived, Sunny was shy, unsure, and still learning that people can be kind. Since then, he has slowly begun to open up, showing more confidence every day and revealing the sweet, loving dog he truly is.

Sunny gets along well with other dogs and is also cat-friendly. He would do best in a home with older children who can understand and respect his need for patience and gentle handling. While he is friendly, Sunny tends to gravitate more toward women and takes a little time to build trust with new people.

Having spent much of his life on his own, Sunny is looking for a family that can give him what he's missed most-love, attention, and companionship. He needs adopters who understand that trust takes time and are willing to let him move at his own pace. In return, they'll have the privilege of watching him blossom into the happy, confident dog he was always meant to be.
