Arlo

Arlo is a 3-year-old, 60 lb. Lab/Hound/Cur mix looking for his forever home. His family loved him dearly, but recent changes in their lives meant they couldn't give him the attention he deserves. Arlo is a sweet boy who loves to play fetch and wrestle, and he'd be thrilled to have a playful canine sibling to share his energy with. He's a smart cookie who knows basic commands and is incredibly food-motivated, making training a breeze. But above all, Arlo's favorite thing in the world is snuggling with his people. He's a fantastic cuddle buddy after a long day of playing!

Ideal Home

Arlo would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of playtime and affection. A home with another dog who enjoys a good romp would be a bonus!

Arlo is a healthy boy with no known health concerns.

Training & Support

Arlo is house-trained and crate-trained. His crate has been a safe space for him, especially during a recent transition period. He was experiencing some destructive behavior when left alone, but the crate has helped him overcome that, and it will be a useful tool for him to adjust to his new home. Arlo is very food-motivated, which will be a great asset in continuing his training.
