SUNNY

Meet Sunny, a young, approximately 2.5-year-old Jack Russell Terrier Chihuahua mix. Sunny, along with her three sisters, was rescued from a hoarding situation. Initially feral, Sunny and her sister Smidge have made progress and are less shy than the others, though they remain skittish. Sunny is not a cuddly dog and is learning that touch is not a threat. She is healthy, spayed, and vaccinated. With the right patient and experienced owners, Sunny has the potential to become a well-mannered and companionable dog.

Ideal Home

Sunny needs a home with experienced dog owners who understand her skittish nature and are prepared for a patient approach. She must have another non-skittish dog in the home to help her learn that people are good and life can be fun.

Sunny is healthy, spayed, and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Sunny is untrained and will require significant patience and understanding as she learns to trust humans. Her journey to becoming comfortable with touch will be a process.
