Meet Gina! This beautiful 1-year-old Belgian Malinois mix, weighing around 56lbs, is a true gem with a heart full of love to give. Gina had a tough start, found as a tiny puppy abandoned in a cardboard box near a busy road. Thankfully, a wonderful foster family has given her a second chance at finding a loving forever home. She's a playful and affectionate girl who enjoys the company of her canine friends and humans alike.
Ideal Home
Gina would thrive in an active home with a family who can provide her with plenty of daily play and exercise. She'd do best with older, dog-savvy children (10 and up) as she can be jumpy when excited and is still learning her size. A home with another dog is recommended to keep her company and help her burn off energy. Gina is enthusiastic about neighborhood kitties, so a cat-free home is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Gina is a healthy spayed female, and no specific health conditions are noted.
Training & Support
Gina is house and crate trained and can be crated for up to 8 hours. She walks well on a leash and shows no signs of separation anxiety. She enjoys playing fetch and is a toy enthusiast, often collecting them in her bed. She is currently in the "puppy velociraptor" stage and will need guidance on appropriate chew items. Slow introductions to new dogs are recommended due to a past negative experience, but she currently lives happily with both small and large dogs.
