Hi there! The shelter may have named me Bad Bunnita, but everyone who knows me agrees there's nothing bad about me-I'm a sweet girl who loves people, cuddles, and snacks!
The shelter thinks I'm an American Pit Bull mix, but at only about 30 pounds, I prefer to think of myself as a "fun-sized" lap dog. I currently live with my foster mom and dad, two human foster siblings, and two canine foster brothers. I get along well with everyone, although if I'm being honest, I really prefer soaking up attention from my humans. I'd be happy as your one-and-only pup or sharing a home with another dog. When it comes to dog friends, I tend to prefer dogs closer to my own size. My favorite activities include napping on my foster dad, sunbathing on the deck, and eating. Mealtime is one of the highlights of my day! My foster mom uses puzzle feeders and slow-feed bowls because I get so excited about food that I sometimes forget to slow down. The good news? It gives my smart brain a workout too!
Ideal Home
I'm happy as your one-and-only pup or sharing a home with another dog, but I tend to prefer dogs closer to my own size.
Ongoing Health
I do have some allergies and need a chicken-free diet. My coat has been growing back beautifully, although my skin can still get a little itchy from time to time.
Training & Support
I enjoy daily walks and playtime to keep me happy and healthy, but I'm not looking for a marathon training partner. A nice walk and some quality time with my people are perfect for me. I've been working hard on my manners and already know commands like "sit" and "down." I'm doing great with potty training and continue learning how to let my people know when I need to go outside.
