Meet Chance!

Chance is a handsome 7-year-old Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler mix, weighing around 95 pounds. His striking eyes and calm, laidback presence bring a sense of peace to every day. He's a gentle guardian of both the backyard and the couch, with a beautiful dark brown and tan coat. Chance thrives in a family environment, is great with children, and truly loves being near his people. Whether he's resting at your feet, supervising dinner prep from his designated spot, or softly snoring in his crate, his steady companionship is a gift.

Ideal Home

Chance thrives in a home with structure and routine, especially around meal times. He would love a family that can offer him companionship and a cozy indoor sleeping space.

Ongoing Health

Chance is currently on thyroid medication, which has brought wonderful positive changes, including increased energy and playfulness, and is helping his coat improve. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has transferable pet insurance. He also has extra dewclaws that require regular care.

Training & Support

Chance is house-trained and politely lets you know when he needs to go outside. He settles well when left alone. He benefits from clear boundaries, especially around food, and enjoys relaxed daily walks with plenty of opportunities for sniffing. He is not a frequent barker, but will alert you to approaching visitors. He knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, stay, down, come, roll over, shake, go lay down, walk fast, and "time for bed."
