Pearl

Meet Pearl, a 3.5-year-old, 6lb sweetheart with a personality as sparkling as her name! Pearl and 12 of her canine companions came to us in September, retiring from her past life as a mama dog. Now, she's ready to live life on her own terms, and let us tell you, she has some very specific terms! Pearl has made incredible progress with socialization and is ready for her forever home. While she's not a fan of cuddles, she's an expert in delivering smothers of kisses and demanding head scratches, all with the most adorable wiggle. She loves to entertain herself by throwing her toys, perching regally on the back of the couch, and bestowing unsolicited kisses. Pearl is crate and potty trained, though a refresher in a new environment might be needed. She thrives on routine and will stick to it once learned.

Ideal Home

Pearl would be happiest in a home where she is the only dog or has a very submissive canine sibling, as she has a bit of an attitude. She requires an owner who loves kisses and understands that cuddling isn't her thing. She must also own her home and have a fenced-in yard.

Ongoing Health

Pearl has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Pearl is crate and potty trained, but may need a brief refresher in a new environment. She can be hesitant to be reached for and may need to be gently led outside on a leash, but she responds well to patience and consistency. She has never shown aggression towards people and is learning to trust that she is safe.
