King

King is a brave soul who unfortunately came to us as a stray with a severely injured back left leg. The leg had to be amputated, but King is doing remarkably well and is not slowed down one bit! He's even enjoying his time in the play yard and interacting with other dogs. While he's still learning to trust humans after his difficult past, he's making wonderful progress. He's alright with other dogs his size and is slowly allowing staff to pet him. He's not a fan of being picked up yet, but with patience and love, we know he'll continue to blossom.

Ideal Home

King would thrive in a home with another dog to be his friend.

Ongoing Health

King is a tripod due to the amputation of his back left leg. His adoption fee includes his spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm disease test, microchip/registration fee, and collar.

Training & Support

King is still working on trusting humans. He needs a patient adopter who can give him space and gentle attention. He is not fond of being picked up yet.
