Panda is a shy but sweet boy who is estimated to be around two years old and weighs 50 pounds. He's a Pittie mix with a mellow nature, lovingly named for his black and white coat. Panda adores toys, chew bones, and his daily walks, truly appreciating the finer things in life. He thrives on routine and structure, enjoying the predictability of each day. Panda is looking for a human to form a deep bond with, someone who will appreciate his unconditional love and gratitude. You can see Panda in action here: https://youtu.be/7fApvgPOfRI
Ideal Home
Panda is your dog's best friend and truly shines in the company of other dogs, especially playful females. He draws confidence from his canine companions and would do best in a home with multiple dogs. While he previously lived with children aged 5 and up and did well, he would do best with respectful and sweet children. Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home setting. He is not recommended for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Panda is a rescue dog and is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also had a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Panda is still learning about life with loving humans and a stable home. Patience, Nyla bones, and walks are key to his heart. He is great on leash and a seasoned professional passenger in the car. He is kennel trained and house-trained. He will require a patient adopter who will allow him a full decompression period, with support from our behavior team and his foster mom.
