Coffee

Coffee is a delightful 1-year-old male Labrador Creole mix, weighing around 30 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, but is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip if adopted! Coffee is a loving, intelligent, and playful pup who is sociable with humans, children, and other dogs. He enjoys playtime, walks, and running, and absolutely adores affection. While a little shy at first with new people, he quickly melts into your arms once he feels comfortable. He's also friendly with cats! Coffee is described as very affectionate, docile, playful, and loyal, bringing joy and laughter wherever he goes. He is crate and leash trained. Coffee was rescued with his six siblings and has been well-cared for.

Ideal Home

We're looking for homeowners with a fenced backyard who enjoy an active lifestyle and outdoor activities. Families with an open mind regarding the needs and behaviors of rescued animals, coupled with experience in dog behavior and training, are ideal. High tolerance and patience are essential, as Coffee is not yet house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Coffee has completed a comprehensive health protocol, including: Spay/Neuter Certificate, 2 DHPPI vaccines, Rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection. He also has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Coffee is crate and leash trained. However, he is not house-trained. We understand that rescued animals may have unique needs and require time, patience, and consistent training to adjust.

Transportation

Coffee is currently fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast of the United States on our next cross-country trip. Transport is available, and there is a transport fee of $400.00, which will be paid by the adopter prior to the pet's departure. Delivery will be to the adopter's home address.
