About Ember

Ember is a delightful 37-pound, 1.5-year-old lady with a spirit as bright as her name! She came to us a bit underweight, but she's now thriving and ready to bring her playful energy into your home. Ember loves a good romp, especially if it involves chasing lizards and rabbits (from a safe distance, of course!).

Ideal Home

Ember's high energy and playful nature mean she'd likely do best in a family with children. She's also very interested in other dogs and cats and is still learning to be gentle during play, so a home where she can continue to socialize and learn would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Ember has an old leg injury that is being managed well with pain medication as needed.

Training & Support

This smart girl already knows basic commands like "no," "off," "inside," and "outside." She is house-trained and crate-trained, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. Ember is very treat-motivated, and a Starbucks pup cup is a sure way to win her over! She enjoys playing with dog toys.
