Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Visit the shelter during adoption hours (Tuesday-Saturday, Noon-4pm) to meet dogs over 4 months old.
• For puppies 4 months and younger, an adoption application must be completed and approved before visiting.
• If you live 1.5 hours or more away, you can complete an adoption application by phone. Calls are returned within 48 hours.
• Please bring the following documents:
  • Pet Owners: Vet records for all current pets.
  • Homeowners: Proof of home ownership (property tax or mortgage document). Utility bills are not accepted.
  • Renters: Landlord's phone number and a copy of your lease. We must speak with your landlord.
  • Valid ID: You must be 21 years or older.
• Dog Owners: If you have other dogs at home, a meet and greet with Penny is required after your adoption application is approved.
• The adoption is finalized after all required information is confirmed and your application is approved.
• We cannot guarantee the availability of any pet and do not hold animals.
