Meet Ashton, a 4-year-old, 88-pound bundle of joy with the happiest disposition! Ashton is a loving Yellow Labrador Retriever who found himself back with us when his family moved and couldn't take him with them. Though his world has been shaken up, this energetic boy is taking it all in stride, proving what a resilient and happy soul he is.

Ashton is a true fetch enthusiast – he'll enthusiastically bring the ball right back for another round! He thrives on activity and cherishes quality time with his people. While he's a strong boy and sometimes forgets his own size, his sweetness shines through. He's even shown he can get along well with other dogs here at the shelter, proving he's a gentle giant with a big personality to match!

Ongoing Health

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will be receiving treatment at the shelter. He will require a family dedicated to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to maintain his happy, healthy life moving forward.

Training & Support

While Ashton is a loving companion, he sometimes forgets how big he is. Consistent guidance and positive reinforcement will help him continue to be the wonderful dog he is.
