Harley is a 14lb, spunky 5-year-old Min Pin mix with a heart of gold and a wiggly butt that never stops! She came to us as a breeder release, sadly left behind when her littermates were adopted. While she had an unfortunate eye injury that we've since had removed to ensure her comfort, it doesn't slow her down one bit! Harley navigates the world with ease and a whole lot of personality. She's a happy girl who loves to lounge on the sofa for TV time but also enjoys a good sunbath in the yard, a game of chase, or a squirrel hunt. She's crate trained and mostly house-trained, though like any new pup, she'll appreciate a little patience as she settles into her forever home. Harley is a pro in the car and walks nicely on a leash, though she can be a bit bossy!
Ideal Home
Harley would thrive in a home with Min Pin experience. She would do well as an only dog or with less dominant canine companions. Due to a past negative experience with a larger dog, she has shown a dislike for "fluffy" or long-haired breeds (like Poodles). She might be okay with teenagers, but we recommend a home without young children who might not understand her need for personal space.
Ongoing Health
Harley's eye was surgically removed to address a past injury and prevent future complications. She is otherwise a healthy girl. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, and is spayed and microchipped with lifetime registration. She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention.
Training & Support
Harley is crate and mostly house-trained, but adopters should be prepared for a brief adjustment period as she settles into her new routine. She can be a little demanding and bossy, so continued positive reinforcement and guidance will help her shine.
Application Details:
- Applications to adopt Harley start by contacting us through Wags.
- A good vet reference and proof of heartworm prevention are required for all adopters.
