Meet Orchid! This one-year-old Pitt Mix is as sweet as her name suggests, full of playful energy and an abundance of love to give. Orchid adores her people and is always ready to shower you with happy kisses. She’s a true puppy at heart, enjoying all sorts of toys, but her absolute favorite game is tug-of-war!

Ideal Home

Orchid would thrive in a home with children over 5, as her enthusiastic play style and occasional puppy clumsiness might be too much for very young ones. She would also love a playful canine sibling or an active family who can keep up with her joyful energy and provide her with plenty of room to play.

Ongoing Health

Orchid is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, including DHLPP, Kennel Cough, and Rabies. She has also been dewormed, heartworm tested, and is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.

Training & Support

Orchid is off to a fantastic start with her training! She is already potty trained, crate trained, and knows "sit" and "shake." She is actively working on "down," "wait," "come," and leash manners. Her family can help her continue to work on her excitement when meeting new people, which sometimes leads to jumping. She can also get excited when seeing other dogs, and with continued guidance, she is making great progress. New foster dogs need time to feel safe and secure, so always ensure collars and leashes fit securely and provide a gentle, protective presence.
