Lily - Forever Foster wanted "Deaf"

Lily is an 8-year-old, 79-pound sweetheart who is deaf and looking for her forever foster home. Lily's journey has been full of love and loss, but her resilient spirit shines through. She was adopted five years ago and deeply bonded with her person. After his passing, she returned to rescue. Despite the challenges, Lily quickly forms deep bonds with people she trusts, showing immense affection, following her person everywhere, and always wanting to be close. When she feels safe and happy, she has the most endearing smile.

Ideal Home

Lily needs to be the only pet in the home. A quieter environment would be ideal, perhaps with someone who works from home, a retiree, or anyone willing to provide a consistent and loving presence.

Ongoing Health

Lily is deaf. She also experiences separation anxiety, which can manifest as barking when she feels worried, stressed, or uncertain. Road to Home Rescue will cover all approved medical expenses beyond routine wellness care for the rest of Lily's life as part of their Forever Foster Program.

Training & Support

Lily's separation anxiety is considered a "fixable issue" by an experienced trainer, Jeff, who will provide direct guidance and support to her adopter. With commitment, consistency, structure, and the right tools, her anxiety can be successfully managed. The goal is to help Lily feel safe, secure, and understood.
