Queenie is a sweet and gentle girl who is about 7 months old and weighs 36 lbs. She has made incredible progress since arriving at the shelter, overcoming her initial shyness with time, patience, and love. Queenie absolutely thrives when she has another dog by her side to show her the ropes and provide comfort and confidence. She's also learning to walk on a leash and is crate-trained, viewing her crate as her safe space. She is already potty trained and is showing steady improvement in her leash skills. Queenie would do well with respectful children of all ages and could be a wonderful addition to a home with cats or other small animals with proper introductions.

Ideal Home

Queenie would do best in a calm and understanding home where she can continue to build her confidence. She absolutely needs to live with another confident, playful dog who can be her companion and guide.

Ongoing Health

Queenie is vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.

Training & Support

Queenie is still a bit shy with new people and new situations, but she is improving with kindness and patience. She would benefit from positive reinforcement to continue her learning journey and blossom into her full potential.
