Hi there, my name is Dune! I'm a part of the Desert litter, and although I was found all by myself in the deserts of New Mexico, I promise I would never desert you! I'm so happy to be rescued because I'm a very affectionate pup who loves being with my humans. My foster dad can't get enough of my cuddles, and my cute white face and chubby wrinkles are here to melt your heart too!
Ideal Home
I'm still working on potty training, but I'm getting better every day! I'm happy to stay in my kennel during the workday and sleep through the night. I'm looking for a family that can continue my training and help me learn boundaries, as I can be a bit too in-your-face and I love to explore counters and people with my mouth. I haven't met any small humans yet, but I love everyone! I have two doggy foster brothers, a playful 1-year-old and a more reserved 10-year-old, both Pitbulls. I have a blast with my younger brother but sometimes get on the older one's nerves. I might do best in a home with another young dog or as a solo pup. I haven't met any cats, but my playful nature makes me think I'd get along okay!
Ongoing Health
No specific health concerns mentioned.
Training & Support
I'm learning to sit and stay, and I have a good appetite! I enjoy chewing on toys, bones, socks, and hats, so please be mindful of what's within my reach. I need help with house manners, specifically learning boundaries and not jumping on counters or people. Patience and consistent training will help me become the perfect family dog.
