Meet Ranger!

Ranger is an 11-week-old Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler) puppy with a playful personality and a heart full of love. Like many Heelers, he's incredibly smart, curious, and thrives when he has both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Whether he's playing fetch, exploring the outdoors, or learning something new, Ranger is happiest when he's on the move. He has been well socialized and does wonderfully with other dogs. Ranger has also done well around cats, although he enjoys encouraging them to play and may occasionally give chase. As a typical Heeler puppy, Ranger is still learning appropriate puppy manners. He can be mouthy during play and doesn't always realize how enthusiastic and strong he is.

Ideal Home

Ranger will thrive with an active family that is committed to providing daily exercise, ongoing training, and plenty of enrichment. He would do best with confident, dog-savvy cats who won't be intimidated by his playful nature, and older children who can comfortably participate in his continued training.

Training & Support

Ranger is still learning appropriate puppy manners and can be mouthy during play. Walks, hiking adventures, games of fetch, puzzle toys, and obedience training will help him grow into the confident, well-mannered companion he's destined to become.
