Hallie is a sweet girl, but she's also a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to new things. This approximately 3-year-old, 72-pound pup loves squeaky toys and Nylabones, and she really enjoys playing with other dogs. She's a high-energy girl who's happiest when she's active. Hallie will let you know when she needs to go outside by coming to find you and sticking by your side until you take her out. She's house-trained and crate-trained, though she's not a huge fan of her crate and experiences separation anxiety. Her biggest challenge is her fear of anything and anyone new, and while she's made great progress, she's still a work in progress. Hallie's favorite treats are people foods, so be prepared to share a little something special! She's good with other dogs but can be a bit dominant at times. We don't know how she is with cats or children.
Ideal Home
Hallie would do best in a home with a patient person who is committed to helping her continue to overcome her fears. A canine sibling would likely be a great addition to her home, as she loves to play with other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Hallie takes medication daily to help manage her fears and anxiety.
Training & Support
Hallie's biggest challenge is her fear of new people and situations. She is still learning to build confidence and will need continued positive reinforcement and patience.
