Meet Dozer! He's a 9-week-old puppy with a sweet, independent personality. Dozer enjoys playtime with his siblings but is just as happy doing his own thing. He has plenty of puppy energy when playing but is also content to relax and take it easy, making him a great fit for a moderate to lower-energy home. Dozer is curious, playful, and independent. He has been raised around children and does well with kids, although his laid-back personality may make him especially well suited for a home with older children who appreciate his more relaxed style. He enjoys toys and gets along well with other puppies. He would likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home to keep him company. Like any puppy, Dozer is still learning the ropes. He's working on potty training and stays in a puppy pen when unsupervised.
Ideal Home
Dozer would likely do well in a home with older children and would likely enjoy the company of another friendly dog. As a young puppy, someone needs to be home more than they are away, as crating them for long periods is not conducive to their developmental needs. If you work outside the home for longer than 4 hours, please explain who will be available to spend time with this puppy while you are away. Applications will not be considered without this information.
Ongoing Health
Puppies under 6 months are adopted on a spay/neuter contract, and adopters will be responsible for having them altered when age-appropriate. $100 of the adoption donation will be refunded after proof of future spay/neuter is shown.
Training & Support
Dozer is still learning potty training and needs a family committed to teaching him the basics as he grows.
