Delilah is a 2-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix who weighs about 13 pounds. She's one of the sweetest, most affectionate little dogs you'll ever meet! Delilah loves everyone: kids (as long as they're over 5), adults, big dogs, and little dogs. She desperately wants dog friends and would do best in a home with another playful dog who enjoys romping, wrestling, and playing. This girl is a total lovebug who wants to be your shadow, your couch buddy, and your chest warmer. She loves to be held, loves to snuggle, and is happiest when she is near her people. Delilah has been trying very hard to convince the dogs in her current foster home to play with her, but they are more interested in retirement life than playtime. She is not a big barker, but she may let you know when she wants to be with you or when someone new is arriving. Once she meets people, she is all love. Delilah has been doing well with going potty outside, though she will need patience as she learns a new routine. Delilah could use a few extra pounds, but otherwise, she is a happy, loving, playful little dog who just wants friends, toys, kids to love, and people who will keep her safe.
Ideal Home
Delilah would do best in a home with another playful dog. She also needs a family committed to keeping her safe, as she is smart, quick, curious, and very aware of her surroundings. She should always be leashed when outside, even in a fenced yard, and her new home will need to be extra careful with doors, gates, and outdoor time.

Delilah could use a few extra pounds.
