Asher

Meet Asher! This sweet and calm senior Havanese is around 16 lbs and just wants to be loved on. He was named in honor of the Sevierville fires. Asher is a house-trained boy who thrives on a consistent schedule but can use a potty pad if needed. He's good with other dogs and respectful children, and we suspect he'd be fine with cats too. Asher happily sleeps through the night in his own bed. He enjoys lounging on the back of the couch and loves bully sticks, though he's not very interested in fetch or toys. Asher is the perfect companion for relaxed days and nights, and he's also a great work-from-home buddy! He doesn't shed but does require regular grooming.

Ongoing Health

Asher has some arthritis in his hind legs, which can make steps and wood floors a bit challenging. He manages well, and sometimes wears grippy socks on days when his knees are bothering him. He also has Cushing's disease and takes one pill daily, which costs about $60 per month.

Asher is house-trained and enjoys a routine. Keeping things consistent will help him feel most comfortable.
