Big Boy lives up to his name with his impressive size, but beneath that large frame beats an even bigger heart. He and his brother were found abandoned, left behind with nothing but chewed ropes. Thankfully, they were brought to safety, and now Big Boy is ready for a loving forever home.
Big Boy is an energetic, strong, and joyful dog who flourishes when he has space to explore and a person to connect with. He's made friends with both two-legged and four-legged companions, including children, at adoption events. While he's still learning to gauge his size, he's a truly sweet boy who loves to play, give, and receive affection. He's the perfect loyal companion for walks, adventures, or simply being your shadow. He's patiently waiting in rescue for his family and would do best in an active home that understands larger breeds and can provide him with the guidance, exercise, and love he deserves.

Transportation
Big Boy is located in Houston, TX. Transportation is included in the adoption fee and may include pickup locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
