Angel

Angel came to us after her owner's passing, brought in by the owner's son. She arrived in rough shape, with severe matting, infected masses, diseased teeth, and a coat full of dirt and tangles. Thankfully, she's made an incredible recovery and is now feeling so much better! In her foster home, she's learned her name, how to patiently wait for meals, and even how to navigate stairs.

Angel is a sweet, resilient girl who has handled all the changes in her life with grace. She's mostly housetrained, though having some potty pads available during her transition to a new home would be beneficial. She's a great traveler and rides well in the car. While she's still learning about leashes, she's already shown she's a pro at enjoying a fenced yard. She's comfortable being left alone in the house and is a good sleeper, typically through the night.

Angel's vision and hearing aren't perfect, but she navigates her world with confidence. She'd prefer to be the sole canine companion in her new home, soaking up all the love and attention for herself. An adults-only home or one with older children who understand and respect her boundaries would be ideal. She's dreaming of a family that is home often and eager to share plenty of snuggles.

Each morning, Angel greets the day with an adorable dance, full of excitement for what's to come. When it's time to go outside, she'll let you know she's ready to do her business with a happy bark!

Angel is approximately 12 years old and weighs about 11 lbs.

Ideal Home

Angel would do best in an adults-only home or one with older children who can respect her boundaries. She would like to be the only dog in the home and would thrive with humans who are home a lot. A fenced yard is a must for her new home.

Ongoing Health

Angel's vision and hearing are not 100%, but she is still able to get around very well.

Training & Support

Angel is mostly housetrained. She is still getting used to leashes, so continued practice in a fenced yard will be beneficial.
