Meet Meadow! This 55 lb bundle of love is an English Pointer mix with an estimated birthday of December 14, 2022. Meadow is the ultimate snuggle bug who just wants to be by your side, soaking up ear scratches and cuddles. She was found alone and hungry on the side of the road in Sunnyside, a mama without her puppies. Thankfully, she's now safe, healthy, and ready to find her forever family.

Meadow is kennel and potty trained. She is dog-friendly, though she can be a bit selective at times.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
- Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
- All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
Transportation
Meadow is located in Houston, Texas, and transport is included in the adoption fee. Please note that the pickup location of transported pets may vary and could be in nearby towns or even in another state.
