Penny is a shy but sweet 5-6 year old black Shepherd mix. She's a bit nervous and needs a patient hand to help her gain confidence, but with a little TLC, she's showing great progress! Penny absolutely adores being brushed, though baths aren't her favorite. She walks well on a leash and is generally calm, but loud noises can startle her. She seems to be house-trained and is comfortable in her crate. Penny is a work in progress and just needs a little extra time to blossom.

Ideal Home

Penny needs a home where her adopters understand she needs to go slowly when approaching her. She's still learning to trust, but she's getting there!

Ongoing Health

Penny is heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment soon.
