Meet Flacko!

Flacko is a charming 8-month-old, 40lb German Shepherd Dog mix who is neutered and ready to find his forever family. He's currently in a loving foster home in Houston, TX, and his playful spirit and loving nature are just waiting to brighten someone's life. Flacko is a certified good boy who adores people and other dogs, and he's even trying his best to make friends with the foster cat, though his enthusiasm might be a bit much for some kitties. He's a fast learner who's eager to please, making him a wonderful companion for an active family.

Ideal Home

Flacko would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of playtime and affection. He enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes and is great at reading their cues. He has been good with a 10-year-old boy and would likely enjoy human siblings to play with, though supervision is recommended around smaller children due to his puppy exuberance, especially when he's learning not to jump or pull on the leash.

Ongoing Health

Flacko is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered. He is a healthy pup, ready for a lifetime of love and adventure.

Training & Support

Flacko is house and crate trained, which is a fantastic start! He is working on his leash manners and can sometimes jump up, so an experienced adopter who can provide consistent guidance and positive reinforcement will help him navigate the world with confidence.
