Shadow

Shadow is a handsome Shepherd mix, approximately 5 years old, who is an absolute pro at playtime, especially when a ball is involved! He's a smart and well-trained boy who clearly has had a lot of love and attention poured into him. His previous family adored him, but due to a new addition to their family, they've made the difficult decision to find him a new home where he can truly shine.

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in a home with a very active owner who can provide a consistent routine and plenty of exercise. He needs an all-adult household and would do best as the only dog or with one other dog, as he enjoys being the center of attention.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and is on a monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. He is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Shadow is a well-trained dog who is great at meeting people in public. However, he can be reactive to visitors in his home and is protective of his space. He must be kenneled when guests are over. He is not fond of newborn humans. He is an active breed and will need a dog-savvy person who can read his body language and provide consistent, high-energy exercise like running and ball throwing.
